But it's listed on the sourceforge page as "GNU General Public License (GPL)"...

It seems a really odd way of "open-sourcing", is this just a scheme to sue people for violating the license? Someone plainly either doesn't understand open-source, GNU, etc. or is playing really evil here.

On the bright side, I think it can't hold up in court. The notion of having license to make some changes (granted on the website), revocable without notification (by just changing the website), just can't work.

The dark side is, unless you aim to go to court to prove it, any changes have to be made with a browser window open and clicking refresh.
