Yerga, I started X-Term and entered the command to run MaemoWordPy. It started after 5 or so seconds. I composed a Test blog post to blogger, hit publish, little seemed to happen for about 20 secs, but the WordPy window wasn't drawn fully (it was mostly blank, with just 1/2 the upper tab area showing): back in the X-Term window after 3 secs or so I saw this: settings.conf exist accounts.conf exist Back to WordPy window, still not doing anything, then finally a message came up saying: MaeomoWordPy is not responding. Close application?......so I did. Back in X-term, it said "killed" under the 2 lines I quoted above. I checked, and needless to say, the test blog entry never got added to the blog. Thanks for your help.
Addendum: Went into the blogger account setup on WordPy and refetched the address of the blog. It did that fine. When I hit the small drop-down arrow next to the address bar to see and select the blog address I have two entries for the same blog address. This time I selected the other one (the one that wasn't blue), composed a test blog entry, hit publish. This time I got a screen that said "Publishing", but it kept on and on publishing (it was only a one word test !!) This time, back in X-Term, there's an error message "No Labels".
Did yet another test. This time all I did was put the word "Test4" in the Technorati labels area. Hit publish, this time it said Publishing was a success!! The test post still hasn't shown up on blogger though (now 5 mins later) but that may just be due to a slow update process. My question now is: was I just "lucky" this time, and do I need to put some random word in the Technorati labels area to publish a post?
