I'm sorry, but for me, the total page rendering speed including downloading the page is not more than 20% faster on the n800. ( no i'm not on dial-up )

using the N800 is so much more pleasant than using the 770.
that's an opinion, as valid as any other opinion; it's a fact the n800 is technologicaly better than the 770. Stretching the comparison, a Chevette will take your everywhere a Viper can go; just a bit slower (ok, a lot slower in that case)

for the main question :

Hello, I have an opportunity to buy the 770 for 100$ CAN. Is it worth it or should I buy the N800 . Is there a huge performance difference for twice the price?
if you can afford the 100$ extra, go for the n800. if you fell you are stretching your budget and will have to eat Kraft dinner for the next 3 month, buy the 770, it's a very good device worth more than 100$.
