For me it was keyboard, usable cover, size, display readable outside with no backlight and also gps as a small bonus. N800 is about same size (well, slightly thicker) as 770 with cover attached. For taking it with me anywhere I would need to buy additional cover which costs something and would make the device even bigger. As 770 was good enough I never felt it is worth the hassle to take N800 outside. N810 cover is not as sturdy as 770 but at least fits perfectly and is not dangerous to the device so I am finally not afraid to take it with me and advantages over 770 are finally obvious.
