Is there any way to create a shortcut to an application that currently exists in the Extras folder on the desktop? I checked out Simple-Launcher, but it only shows the icon and does not seem to have a way to short the icon name.

I'd like something, ideally, that shows the application name along with the icon. I really like Nokia's "Web Shortcut" applet, but wish there was a way to point it towards an install app instead of a URL.

Also, is there an easy way to make an application auto start on bootup?
