Phew!

I pulled that battery and went to bed. This morning it worked???
It must have been something left running in the background or suttin' last night. Although it still complains that 1 or both of the cards are in use. However, when I check the "Load" applet it shows no processes running other than 1% for desktop.

At least I can re-flash now.
