I've been lucky enough to have both an N810 and an N800.

Since the N810's release, I've regarded the N800 as the better deal — it alllows you to put in more memory, the price is shockingly low, and the webcam swivels, which makes it possible to use it to capture something other than a video of yourself.

I'm a great tap-typist, and I haven't especially wanted a built-in keyboard. And I think I can get along fine without GPS.

But ...

I'm beginning to find the built-in keyboard extremely useful for certain apps — when I do need to type, I'm several times faster with the keyboard, so notes and emails are taken care of faster. And even a drawing app like MyPaint utilizes the keyboard usefully.

Moreover, I believe the day of the GPS-enabled app is coming and having that GPS built-in will enable vastly more useful aspects of the walkaround web than we realize.

So — a month ago, I would have suggested looking at the N800 first, thinking it a "better" deal. Now, I'm not so sure that the N810 isn't a better choice, even though the price is considerably higher.

I guess I can only say that you should be sure to consider them both carefully.
