I just checked - with the cdc_acm.ko module installed, it is recognized, and the NMEA stream is at /dev/ttyACM0. No extra power required, but most new GPS units use far less than 100ma (and this comes up as an ANTARIS(r) 4 with 100mA max). And it does appear to charge it, but I think it would drain the n810 if that was not connected to a charger.
