Stick the device on the charger and leave it there. It'll eventually power itself on into charging mode, after that, follow these instructions exactly: Install xterm and becomerootBoot the device normally by holding down the power button, you can unplug the charger once the device is booted. Flash the DeviceIf you see the USB logo at the Nokia splash screen, then the device is now waiting to be flashed. Go ahead and plug the barrel charger in in case the download takes a long time. Now, start the flasher and let it flash the device. After the flasher's done, the device will be running the latest firmware and you should have no more problems powering on.
