I went to the library yesterday and tried to install canola, but I couldn't install anything; they must have some sort of filter on their wifi network. Today, I looked at the installing->details screen under canola2 in application manager--where it says, "canola requires the following dependencies to run . . ."--I sshed into my tablet from my desktop, so I'd have a keyboard to do what looked like a major operation, and I installed those dependencies about five or ten at a time with "apt-get." The computer told me that it couldn't read a key to verify that these packages were correct, but I just accepted on faith that they were. And now I have canola. Yay!
