Tomorrow, you'll likely be hungry again, and may very well come back to where you previously had success in solving an immediate problem, and ask for another fish. If, on the other hand, I teach you how to catch your own fish, I've helped you to become self-sufficient in solving that sort of problem on your own, without further intervention or guidance from me. See?

...and, regarding that September -- I had a hand in connecting a large online service up to the internet, at around that same time... but it wasn't that online service!! (it was the one ranked right next to it on the list of large online services, though. our users were net-savvy, though! )
