I lol'ed I remember thinking the same thing a few years ago when I spent $70 on a nice set of earbuds (thats a lot for me) that I had been ripped off because they were broken. I went back to the store and the salesperson laughed at me saying they were designed to run around the back of the head . I actually prefer this design now.
