On the contrary, while that's not a very good hammer, I'm sure it beats a rock for light work, and the claw can probably come in handy; if it were $33 here, instead of on some japanese site, I'd buy it right now.
^ I'm not a gadget freak but I was liking the idea of the uber hammer too.

One reason we don't get upset at a less than ideal intuitive design is that if we only have to bang our head once or twice before getting it right we're happy. If it *works* ideally after a few minutes of imperfect UI then it might be superior in the long term. If I bang my head every time then it just sucks. The N doesn't suck. If I feel like a lump after the coolness wears off then it sucks. The N sucks less.

edit-> Is it true that if microsoft sucked just a little more they could be classified as a black hole? ok, the iDeology doesn't suck as bad as MS however.... it is about which sucks less for you particular needs. amen.
