You don't need a specific file extension under Unix. Try this as root:

echo 'alias net-pf-10 off' >> /etc/modprobe.d/bad_list

That should create a file with the correct line of text in it, in the appropriate place.

Then reboot for this to take effect.

Not sure if it works for me on IT2006, but what the heck, something to try.
