I'd thought of that, but unless I added it to the sudoers file, it would end up running as root not user. Which I'm starting to think might not be such a bad idea, 'cause every time I start a terminal (which admittedly isn't that much), it brings the focus back to the calendar 'cause it re-sources the .profile. I just thought there might have been a 'official' tablet/maemo/hildon 'Startup' folder or method. Seems not. TX
