Skinny, mine behaves the same way. I have to reboot to get the virtual keyboard to kick in again after pulling out the USB keyboard.

if u're using usb control so after using the keyboard u should unplug it,open again usb control and click on peripheral mode,that makes the usb behave normal and u get back the virtual keyboard and the mass storage.i have the same keyboard but flexible,very sweet
