I took the liberty to photoshop some screenshots from the omweather web page to show you the results.

It is very good suggestion particularly in popup window. But I think "may be to make one more icon last in desktop form". To create 4 icons:
1. Chip with icicle
2. Simple chip
3. Chip, cloud and sun
4. Chip and sun

And show their depends on the temperature inside the device.
