Ok, I called verizon (my carrier) to find out what is supported. I do have an unlimited data plan, so I know once/if I can tether I'm good to go. In verizon's words, they want another $15 a month to tether. I'm still unable to find out if they are looking to see if DUN or PAN is what they are looking for.
