You are 100% correct. I read your post too and I also irked to find out they jacked the price by $2. I think because Mara ordered it and caused the price hike Patriot finally responded to the complaint and posted in newegg.com, "please return for an exchange...5 year waranty". I think it is like everything in life, you will have to take a chance if you want to save a couple of bucks, the cheapest I can find mini or micro 8G is $66 shipped. I happened to have also snapped up a $14 4G miniSD, as you have recommended. Again, thanks for the warning. It is always good to have some balance and check.
