My heart is with you, PB. I know exactly how it felt. I cracked by Toshiba e740 (a winCE with wifi when people dont even know what is wifi) screen, when I turned around to fetch something. The screen cracked between my shirt pocket and the steering wheel. I felt like a pet was found dead. Hope you find it somewhere in the house,

BTW, I think you should report to the police and have it listed as a stolen/lost property and, maybe, claim catastrophic thief lost on next year tax return.
