I use a Cradlepoint CTR350 with an external battery pack to connect over my Franklin CDU680 to the Sprint EVDO.

BTW, both routers now support HSDPA and EVDO Rev.A But check to ensure your device is supported.

I am assuming you want this all for portability/to be mobile.
Or you could just buy a cheap bluetooth 3g phone, and put your sime in that...
