Effectively the osso-dsp-plugin-alsa package conflicts with the libasound2-plugins package but on my own tablet dpkg removed it cleanly before to install the dsp plugin. I'm not sure the package is properly installed on your tablet because the dbus error should not happen anymore even with non fixed vlc debian packages.
