I installed successfully the Pan newsreader, but I cannot managed to connect. First time it just locked up (yeah, I know that it appears to lock up, but it really locked up).

Checked the log file and read that there were some errors related to the domain of the mail address (I inserted some antispam stuff).
Then, I tried to insert my gmail address not to care about the spam, but same thing happens: as soon as I confirm to discharge the groups list, it will lock. I tried to leave it with the connection on the whole night (!) but nothing.

I'm sure it is not connecting because if I start the Connection manager, no data passage is shown (increases 40-50 bytes at a time, but in, say, 10 minutes, it hasn't reached 1 kB...)

Any advice?
