Completely agree! The $199 price point is amazing. I'm a developer and occasional hacker and appreciate the NT platform on many levels, but it has not lived up to what I was hoping it would be.

As said, the key is always software, and to reiterate, I will pay a fair price for software that does what I want, is easy to use, and easy to install. Unless Apple makes the foolish mistake of blocking software for stupid reasons, there is going to be a great library of great software for it.

The only hardware downside is the lack of an SD card slot. That would have made the hardware platform almost perfect.
