Just an update for all who are interested: The USB 360 degree adaptors are now available:

These things are just plain out cool... don't get confused with the knock-offs btw (i.e. the cablesToGo version) that only pivot on one axis; this bad boy goes all the way around in all directions. Perfect for use on the tablets with the OTG adaptor, ESPECIALLY with the wired network adaptors like the USB100M.
