I don't know, but I've been running Yahoo Mail daily since I got the N800 a year and a half ago, and I don't have this problem and have never seen it that I recall.

Are you running Yahoo Classic? The newer Yahoo doesn't work as well, in my experience.

Are you using Greasemonkey? Maybe some script could cause this.
