my wife has a Nokia n800 that she likes really well.

AT THIS POINT I SAY THIS :: we are exactly not malicious, malevenant or have ill will purposes in mind or any hint of such....so i do see ethix in play and would rather not take a defensive posture over this or a scolding etc..

it picks up and connects to many networx as we drive by--really good range.
most are PW protected. we connect thru unprotected ones and sometimes we need a little more driving but not much more..
i am aware of linux apps that can crack. we have never used or experimented w/any..
i would like to know of experiences w/quick efficient apps to crack these home network protections.

i would just like to know what the end successful process is now a routine for those who just wanna quick connect for an address, show time, google or such like this and then continue along their busy day.
