You really like the N8x0 over the N770. I have both a N770 and N800 and the N800 is better all the way around.

You might loose the hard case (but you can always buy a hard case for the N800) but you also gain the built in stand. The N770 "plate stand" was a piece of junk and you never seemed to have it on hand when you wanted to put it down. The N800 with the built in stand is great.

Of course you are also getting faster hardware, you won't have to play Russian Roulette everytime you turn the N800 off, and there are more programs and continued support with the N800.

Look at the buy/sell section of this forum. There is usually a N800 sold each week here and perhaps someone would be willing to ship to AU.
