This may seem like it would belong on an S60 forum instead of a NIT forum (where are the good Nokia handset forums, anyway?)... but...
Engadget has an article on
Dashwire 2.0
today. And it will supposedly soon support S60 phones.
What is it? It's a web client (on their servers) that syncs and integrates things with your phone. So, you can send SMS messages from your web client (presumably your Windows/Linux/Mac PC, but perhaps your Maemo device as well), handle visual voice mail, etc.
This, and a bluetooth headset for the actual call handling, could let you leave your phone in your briefcase/messenger-bag/backpack/etc. while using the NIT to control everything. Dial/answer via (that phone app based on libgnoki), SMS and everything else via Dashwire.
Though, if libgnoki and its associated app were extended so that you can fully remote control an S60 phone, that might be more useful (integrate bluetooth HID and BIP, perhaps?).
