Yes, I did find that previously which is how I was able to produce the config file that I posted. It is just that the syntax seems slightly familiar to me as in perhaps conky just feeds the whole thing to some sort of interpreter or macro processor for parsing and formatting that has more features than is explained in conky's documentation, such as adding a fixed decimal point to a raw number and truncating it somewhere past the decimal point, maybe even doing a little arithmetic to it to convert it to arcane units of measurement for backwards nations (USA).
