i do wonder if some kind of auto sizing would be better, and some options for direction of stacking or something.

say you set it to stack horizontally, then it will try to fill the number of columns before moving to the next row.

if set for vertical, it will fill the number of rows before moving to the next column.

maybe a option for where the stacking should start to, like top/bottom, left/right.
