This brings back memories of DOSBox on the N810. There was a huge thread on this a while back. Its even possible to install windows 95! No joke, though it takes about 15 mins to boot up (if you are lucky and it does boot), and runs at like 1 mph. But then you find there are mouse issues, etc. The coolest part of my setup was that the windows 95 image was on my USB stick with host mode.

@supergadgetman Instructions for running Win 3.1 in DosBox are all over the internet. Just google for it, its the same for any linux installation. But just to save your sanity, I highly suggest you install it on your computer and move the image on the tablet.
