I just don't do geeky stuff. The user interface is different enough for me not to notice any speed improvements (which, incidentally, were rather noticeable on the 770 going from 2005 to 2006) and for the rest the only thing I really noticed, is that mplayer no longer stutters when playing videos.

But that's kewl...
