Caveats:
It's not waterproof
It's not vibration-proof. The battery clips inside my Nokia battery pack broke, I think due
to the pack moving around (about 1/2mm). In general I thought most modern electronics was pretty good - older, bigger stuff with large circuit boards and not enough fasteners may have problems (years ago I worked with some military stuff where we tested this).
The audio is not loud enough to hear while riding, and a stock BT headset isn't either.
I've used GPS and maps, also aircrack and wireless tools to map WLAN coverage around
campus at work.
