0. Prerequisites: Some way of getting root access (I suggest rootsh from extras. Install from app manager.) Some way of editing files in /etc (I suggest nano if you're not familiar with vi).
1. Grab dbus-scripts from here -or- search for "dbus-scripts" on http://gronmayer.com/it and add the repository it's in, then install with apt-get.
2. Head over here for more information on using dbus-scripts: http://www.cobb.uk.net/770/index.html#dbus-scripts
3. You might need wireless-tools to get more info about the AP that you're connected to. You can find it on gronmayer.com/it
4. Come back here and ask questions or share your script if you think it might help others.
