Okay, I've read the posts about network errors on this forum and several others. My flavor of the network error seems a little different.

In the Connection manager, the WLAN signal is 4 bars strong, Status toggles from "Connected" for just a moment to "Data being transferred" for several minutes. Then a moment of "Connected."

Received ticks up slowly, about .1kB per 5 seconds. Sent stays locked at 0.

If I try to use the browser, I get the dreaded "Network Error" message.

I used the 770 from January until July without trouble. Then the Network errors started cropping up. Well, I upgraded the OS and the problem remains the same.

1. Not inherited: when I upgraded the OS, I didn't restore any of the old data on the device. This puppy has a clean slate.

2. It's not related to the DHCP since other machines on my same network are getting IP addresses automatically. I even tried manually assigning the IP without any success.

3. Not security either - network is unsecured.

At this point I've been thrashing about the Connectivty manager settings, just trying anything to see if I can make the situation any different. I always get the same result.

Any help or ideas are appreciated. I love my 770, and want to start using it again. Thanks!
