Hey midwinter, it seems like you're the one who thinks it's a zero-sum game. Look, Nokia is making N8xx in the size they are, for a market that wants pocketable computing devices. eeepc et al are making something distinctly different. So why come here complaining about the size of the N8xx and wishing/hoping they change the size?

And hey, what is it with everyone claiming the eeepc's have 'taken off'. I don't know the sales numbers, maybe they have, but I rarely see one around, can't even remember the last time I saw one in 'the wild'...but I see iphones and itouches and even N8xx's pretty regularly. And among the biggest market for laptops and associated devices - business/corporate buyers - eee's are pretty much not even considered and option.
