Don't worry! :-)

There are actually two alternatives:

-You can download and install the firmware using an unofficial application for macintoshes which does pretty much the same job as the Windows app (see below)

OR

-You can download the firmware update by using someone else's Windows PC just this once, because all future firmware updates after this one will be entirely "over the air" directly onto the tablet, and won't require a computer at all.
