Bundyo, thanks I'm using emelfm2 to edit. Your instructions worked like a charm using Emelfm2.

For newbies to Emelfm2. Go to app manager and load Emelfm2. Then reboot. Then go to x-term and go into root by typing sudo gainroot, hit enter. Then type Emelfm2, hit enter. Then on left screen go to usr file then share, etc... this is the path to get to the comics '/usr/share/buoh/comics/comics.xml'. Once you see it hit the icon on left that looks like papers its your editor. Once in be very careful to the changes you make and save. Close out of Emelfm2 then xterm. and open Buoh. Done. The thread below has a great diagram of Emelfm2 and all the icons. Be very careful Emelfm2. You can really mess up your system. Enjoy.
