I'll try to start the installation again, maybe I missed something...
I just tested latest SVN on my N800, and it seems to work. What puzzles me is that the hostname is 'May' - which is the old hostname that beta3 used. Did you mkfs.ext on the partition or did you just mount it? If you just mounted it and used beta3 before, something like this might have happened..
