Comparable in capability. Like encoding/decoding video, displaying 3D, running a web browser, editing a document, playing chess, etc.

No, the lack of linux support is news to me, but it's not entirely surprising; WinMo is all over the Tegra site. TIs investment in OMAP3 seems obvious, and their product and investment in linux has been established.

But it'll still be interesting (for me and a few others) to follow Tegra Developments. Competition generally means good things for the consumer.
