After installing
mini-Gnome
, I have found two Gnome apps to be very nice in OS2008 as well.
gThumb: A
really
nice little picture viewer, it can do simple picture manipulation, and it has a
rocking
fullscreen mode with an autohiding finger friendly menu bar.
Nautilus file browser: Wow. You can connect to just about any file source, be it FTP, SMB, SSH or just local files, and browse the files and folders easily. It also has really good support for mime types and "open with".
