I got the CBC live feeds to work on my tablet; beautiful, clear, full screen video.
It was a pain to get it to work. First I got Bundyo's
MPlayer plugin
. Then I went to the cbc.ca olympics
live video website
. Then I chose the channel. Then when the MPlayer plugin just sits there, saying "getting playlist", I double click and hit "play" from the menu that pops up. It tries to play something but doesn't work. I double-click again, and copy the URL using the menu choice. Then I pull up a terminal and type
Code:
mplayer -playlist <pasted URL>
Of course, I paste the URL into the command, instead of typing <pasted URL>
It is magnificent, better streaming video than I've ever seen...
