Question before I go about this: Is it necessary to reinstall for each beta released, or will I be able to upgrade smoothly via the apt repositories within Debian?

Reason I am asking is because the installer in SVN nearly drove me mad, so I am going with beta 3's nice tar file. With that in mind, can I install from SVN /without/ using that installer? It has a nasty way of failing on me and needing to restart from the beginning.

Edit:
I didn't mess up the installer when I ran it directly on the tablet with -noscreen. I guess this is a fine message that I should never be given a nice easy GUI; I have a knack for messing them up.
