Nokia Research have developed a video conferencing robot called Jeppe, controlled from the N8x0 tablets.

It's currently in concept stage and uses Google Talk for video. Remote control is restricted to the local WLAN although they do plan on allowing remote Internet access

Interesting how the illustration has an N800 in the LAN and an N810 remote. Subtle Wi-Max Edition marketing maybe?
