Just wondering if anyone has any tips on improving picture quality, compatibility etc...

A lot of the older movies are flv or divx and play from embedded players which wont go full screen but many are watchable. I was just wondering if there was a way to open these files with another player (mplayer etc...) and if so, would that improve anything?

If not, would trying to install Debian or KDE and using those browsers work?

Also, the newer movies all seem to be wmv files which the built in player can't seem to play at all.

I assume these sites are legal as you're not downloading.
