You need libupnp-devel installed. It worked fine after that.

I should add that gmediastreamer didn't like many of my ogg files even though I know they work fine. There didn't seem to be any consistent reason why it didn't like some of them that I could find but I didn't look very hard.

It's too bad I couldn't get ushare to work. It seemed more mature.
