You can buy a charger very cheaply, which plugs into AC and has a cigarette lighter output. I have one for use with the few devices I own which have DC cables only. I also have some USB chargers, both AC and DC, which plug into either an AC outlet or a cigarette lighter, and have a USB port for output, for charging whatever uses a standard USB charger. These are all cheap, ~US$5, and work well for me.
