Hmm, interesting. I did some digging and MMC2, the designation the OS gave to the internal 2gb card, isn't listed in fstab.

As for the reason, it's mostly because I want to eliminate my seeing three drives when doing any browsing of the file structure via either the programs, or the file manager. I don't use the home folder, and the included second drive is too small. So that just leaves me with using the add in card, which means I've got half a dozen unneeded extra clicks just to get to it to do anything. If I could eliminate that, or make the OS and file manager select that one first when browsing for files, it'd make my life a lot easier.

I guess I really don't have to remove it persay, I just need to get it out of my way more or less. I know that, as a rather crude example, you can get Windows to automatically select any drive or folder you want as the automatic default view when opening Explorer. I guess I'm kinda looking for the same thing here.
