Thanks for addressing this issue..... I have a Wireless G Router WRH54G...... I have a WiMAX connection...... There's no DSL modem...... There is a PoE box with a Data Out port and a Data In Port...... The cable from Data Out port is a Cat 5e cable that goes to the Antenna..... The Data In port has a Cat 5 cable that goes to the LAN card of my PC......

I have configured the required Router Parameters...... But the Lan IP always shows 192.168.1.100 despite having configured it as Obtain IP automatically..... (When I directly connect the Data In Port to my LAN Port, without routing it thru the Wifi router, the IP is something like 123.xxx.yyy.zzz format)......!!!!

What could be the reason for not obtaining the actual IP when I have already specified DHCP enabled in Router Configuration and my PC Network settings....
